About Us
This is a fully restored 1901, 5 bedroom 3 full bath farm house located on the edge of the River Islands Golf Club which opened in February 2021. It is perfectly situated within close distance to Pigeon Forge, Knoxville, and Gatlinburg. As owners and operators of Par for the Course, we reside a mile away making us available if there are any immediate needs. We are also the proud owners of the Yummy Eats food truck located on the golf course at the 9th/10th hole. We did all the restoration with some help of local contractors to upgrade the plumbing and the electrical. The floors throughout the home are the original hard wood floors as are the doors which the exception of a few rooms where the floors had to be replaced. We wanted to keep this beautiful farm house as close to it's original glory as much as possible while providing a comfortable getaway for guests like you. Our hope is that you find just as much joy in staying here as we did in restoring it.
Plenty of Room
When you arrive you will be greeted by 5 comfortably and uniquely decorated bedrooms with plenty of sleeping space for all of your guest. The first floor houses the master bedroom with a king size bed and flat screen TV (pictured above). A second bedroom which connects to the kitchen is also on the first floor with a double bed. On the second floor are 3 more bedrooms; 2 double beds in one room and 2 queen beds in the other two rooms.
Family Style Entertaining
When you aren't enjoying breakfast on the back patio or coffee on the perfectly redone wrap around porch, gather everyone together at this artistically handmade farm table for a home cooked meal (or take out if you prefer). Use our fully functional kitchen to whip up something amazing for your group to chow down on after a long day of exploring or relaxing. Check the cabinets; we promise we left you best dishes.
